Brake noise....

LAtely, when I hit the brakes, I have been hearing a "CREEK, CREEK, CREEK" noise. The noise kinda sounds like when you rub your finger on glass. The noise occurs 3 times (when the brakes are applyed), and only at slow speeds. Has anyone else experienced this?
