Update on Car Crash..

Just talked to the Body Shop, most of the work is cosmetic. But
it cost 9,900 bucks that include a 3,500 3 stage paint job ! 2 fenders
replace bumper, straighten floor of trunk on the right side. WOW

No front end damages at all, wheels, hub bearings, stuts, axle are
fine.

I was told it wouldnt be total a loss its mainly body work. The paint
job is the most expensive.

They are offering a lifetime warrently on all work. The will use a laser
type machine to fix the flooring in the trunk.

My deductable is being picked up my the rear enders insurance, rental
fee and 500.00 inconvience type fee ,this was offered after the adjuster
asked if I was in pain. I said yes mentally and that I was a tad stiff.
(they offered me this so I wont sue there a@#I bet).

One more adjuster needs to check it out so I am just going off what
the collision center said.

I feel better , I think...any advice ??

One thing to consider about the estimates is the actual cost of fixing the car up is not the same amount.

My initial estimates came to $6.5k, actual cost was $4k. Second set of estimates (after more problems were found) came out to an additional $2k, actual came out to under that, etc. etc.

So there's a good chance $9.9k won't even be reached. Btw, the paintjob on my repair was also 4-step one - strip/prime/paint/clearcoat.

p.s. The claims adjuster will always quote lower than the repair shop.

That sounds right, I spoke with the people and they are contracted with
Nissan and all the parts are genuine, I have never had a insurance company work so fast, they didnt even come out the body shop just
sent them the photos and estimates (they contract with that guys
insurance)

I am so HAPPY, I hope everything goes well and thanks for all your
information and support. Maybe I can get a decent nights rest.

The car will be ready in 1 1/2 weeks 2 at the most.
