6 speed question

I was just wondering when you guys race at what rpms do you take off.
I have tried different take offs. I'll be going to the track tomorrow

That's because you are slowwwwww...... J/K

1800-2400 RPMs is a good starting point, but it's more dependent on your car traction at your local track.

1400 RPM if you don't want any wheelspin.

2K to get a clean launch and punch it till ~5400rpm before slapin' the byatch in to second.........

why at 5400? I usually shift at 6000+ usually close to red line.
I have heard about shifting at 5000-6000 but why.-Just wondering
