Owned by a 2k2 Max

Driving last night a Beige 2k2 flies by me. I've never ran against a 2k2 or even seen the power difference between the 2k2 and 2k1 on the street, so I decided to give it a go, we each had a passenger and at the next light we both took off, we shut it down pretty quickly but it was obvious that I got my a$$ handed to me. Talked with him at the next light: completely stock, haha. For all of the 2k2-2k3s out there, dayum!

Same thing I was thinking... But hey, if the guy next to you wants to go, and everything looks good, go for it.

Personally, I wont race another Max, Alti, G35S G35C, 350Z. Common link between them all : VQ35.

No shame in losing to the above cars, and no pride in beating them.

well...maybe not for a max or altima but dusting a g35c or 350z is a feat imo

Why? Why not? I'm sure the people asking why, are the ones racing the honda civics and accords of the world, and to that, I ask why!

I didn't think I was gonna beat him, but I wanted to see how my car stood up against the VQ35. We were both autotragic!

I like to race school buses. That makes me feel like a man....plus, I can impress 20 or 30 middle school kids at the same time.

Ahh ! Yeah, 300hp will rear its ugly head after 80. Some 2JZ GS4x0's in Chicagoland. Sick as hell man. I had an GS430 try to bait me into a rolling race a while back. No thanks, wasn't in the the mood to get beat that night.

I love my Maxima! A fully loaded G35 couldn't outrun me at a local freeway. I was surprised how well I was keeping up w/ him up to 115+ MPH.

I have no immediate plans to trade my Max, but if I come across a GOOD deal on the GS4x0 (w/Navi, preferrably)........let's just say I'll be on clublexus.com MUCH more than Maxima.org.

I have whooped on 3 A33 Maximas ('00, AE, and '03). The AE and the '03 got roasted the worst b/c of driver errors.

I've unfortunatly had more street race encounters
with 2k/2k1's Max's than any other car-

I think they just want to hear my 3.5 WOT.....and see my clear tails as they pull away.......

You and Prince are both cannibals, lol. I'll be first to admit though, if another Max 4th or 5th gen got next to my Max, and they WANTED to get a taste, I would let them lick the spoon. I would go b a l l s out...But that's the socially irresponsible part of me. Usually I drive like granny.

Oh, and for F23A4 (what's with the name ?) yeah, I love the Max, but come time for my next car, I will be taking a hard look at a GS4x0 or Acura TL. Both steps up from the Max.

You thought I was joking? My commute goes through about 10 miles of a school bus route....you get stuck behind one of those things when it's stopping every 1/4 mile and it'll put you 20 minutes late into the office.

Actually, I sit next to the bus with it's "stop" sign out and rev so the little kids can hear the frankencar roar. Then I smoke out off the line and they all cheer.

NOT

Its a handle I used when I first got my 99 Accord and frequented Superhonda.org. I still have the Accord (sort of) so I decided not to change my handle even though I got the 2K2 Max.

The GS400 will be my next upgrade if I ever let the Max go or something bad happens to it. I tried to hang with one before I got my 02 sensors replaced and he was walking away from me the whole way.

This guy was big and I'm barely 130 wet so those cars definately have my respect.

Man...sounds like a bunch of 3.0L haters I'm happy with my '01 5 speed. I can whip on many cars on the road. Plus I already have a problem getting stopped by the for speeding. Would of been nice to get a 3.5, but couldn't afford to get one with all of the options I wanted on it and the hid theft scared me away. When I see a 3.5 on the road, I just and respect their power.
