after all these questions about headlight bulbs, etc., it's making me wonder why ANYone would even buy 100watt bulbs? from what i see on the posts from other sites, no housing (that i know of) can withstand the heat. is there actually a harness/housing out there that can take the heat? hrmm... just a thought. any answers?

hey...i got mine by accident...no wattage was listed

i have never heard of a car taking what my bulbs put out...my bulbs are 110/100w which they say "look like" 175/135w...isn't the biggest wiring harness on autodynamic only 80 watts or so? probably if you have a glass housing you can take it, but the majority of cars made now don't have glass housings (and those that do probably have h.i.d.'s...o well, i emailed raybrig and they haven't responded yet about trading in my bulbs

nawww, buddy... i wasn't referring to you. it's just that every other forum i've been on people are talking about 100+watts. when you search for "100watts" in the general forum, there's a mess of posts about it. i know it's not your fault. just a thought.

I'm confused!!!!!!............

Mine say 55/65w => 90/100w on the package.
Does this mean they shine as bright as the 90/100w or is that the actual wattage?
By the way they are Nokya Artic Whites if you ever heard of this brand.

When bulb manufacturers say that 55/65 -> 90/100 they mean that the bulbs 'look' as good as ones that use 90/100 W. It is a bit subjective to say something like that. It is physcially impossible for something to use only 55/65 watts and output 90/100 watts.
