Was out running around the other day, when I pulled up on a 02-03 SE. I looked at the rear bumper and it had a molded in bumper strip that was painted silver. The car was black by the way. The bumper looked stock other than that strip, what gives? Is this car from Canada or something that makes it different than US spec cars?

 

people in NY and other places stick raised strips on their bumpers to avoid scratches and small fender benders. a lot of taxis have em in black rubber.
its nothing OEM...just a little more protection, sorta like a bra
