I'm getting 19-inch Evos by the 20th, and yes I had 18s but because of the f**kin moron workers we have in scottsdale who left a 4 inch deep by 53inch wide trench wide open without lighting or signs, I severely bent two of the rims.

My car looks like a Chevy Malibu?! You do know that your body style is almost identical to mine, being as you have an 03 and I have an 01, so if my car looks like a malibu, so does yours, and everyone else in this thread...

The turn signals and reverse are piaa bulbs. The red bulb came with the taillights.

JT - Your car looks hot! I personally wouldn't get clears (i like OEM's) but not gonna bash you- your car is original in that manner - Good luck and watch out for popo!

If you want to be legal, just get red reflective tape and paste it on the back bumper on both sides. . . it might look a little ghetto, but its easier than getting refectors custom fabricated into your bumper. I think these lights would look sick with red LEDs underneath it, otherwise the red bulbs would make it look pink.

i have them and i have red led's in the turn signals and brake lights. mine are legal. i asked my friend who is a cop and said as long as there are red lights in them there is no problem. also i love the way the car looks with one tone of lighting all around. espescially on that color, the same as mine. i have had no problems with cops. i would post pics, but all mine are older and don't have any mods in them. sorry.

First of all, MANNY......I could give a fuck what you think of anything I have on my car. The other fool can't handle someone flaming his tailights. You on the other hand are more of a jackass , by laughing at my dash kit because it " doesnt match my interior"......
Since when are dash kits supposed to match your interior ? I see a lot of guys with Carbon Fiber dash kits, and I dont see any other CF inside their cars.... That was a retarded comment. Next time pull your head out of your *** before you some on here and open your cake hole....just to show your ignorance... I would keep quiet if I was you, whats that on your coin holder...Oh, its a GTR emblem ! Thats a nice touch !

Btw..I hear those MTX's pound really hard ........

Don't be dissing on the MTXs......

Also Manny you need to take the GT-R badge off, last time I checked no maxima had the same distinction as a Skyline, not dissing just being truthful

Now now kids, be nice. This was a thread about the clear lights, not other peoples wheels or dash kits. Grow up people. You can't handle criticism, get off the internet!!

Ugh, as if another thread about this topic isn't enough you had to go and say this. 2 things...

#1 - If you have all clear taillights with red LED bulbs under them in a 5th gen Maxima you are ILLEGAL. Period. You can say yours are legal all you want but it doesn't make it so.

#2 - Assuming you did really ask a friend who is a cop then he has no idea what he's talking about. Red LED bulbs do nothing to keep these lights legal because the law states that you must REFLECT red, not just project it at night.

As someone already said, this has been discussed again and again in other threads recently. There is no question that these lights are illegal, it's just a matter of whether or not the cops in your area will catch it and decide to pull you over for it. I'm guessing that alot of cops, such as Matt's00MAX's friend, don't even know the law regarding this.

That law applies in all 50 states too.. This seems to be the 100th thread about this crap. Why do people keep asking the same freakin questions....
