I realize this is probably one here somewhere but since i cant search i will just ask. I reset the ECU on my 2000 SE and did a little throttle body cleaning today, put everything back together, took her for a spin, and on my way home the Light came on. I put all vaccum lines back on. Is there a way to check the ECU for fault codes on 5th gens like there is on previous maximias? if there is i would be greatful to anyone that pointed me in that direction. Thanks

 

you will have to pull the code(s) with a obd2 diagnostic tester. there is no led light to read in order to get the codes like on 4th gens. best bet is autozone since they perform it for it no charge.

 

Autozone is the only place. Advance Auto does do it, neither does PepBoys. Unless you got a fellow buddie who has an OBDII scanner like I do.
