concerned about the GAB&OSCAI setup

i've had the GAB and OSCAI setup for about a week now, and i've noticed some power in 3rd gear..but anyways, i've noticed a lot of grains of dirt going into the intake housing where the filter panel sits in..of course its due to the extension of the hose towards the front of the car thats forcing some of the dirt from the roads into the intake housing...but anyways, should i be real concerned about the small grains of dirt getting into the engine? i saw some small bits of dirt actually stuck in the filter

I've ran a K&N with my gutter intake and yes the filter gets black ... but all behind it is clean so i don't worry
