02 owners with NISMO Fuel Filler Cap Cover please step in

I just bought the NISMO Fuel Filler Cap Cover for my 02 SE Max. I tried to put in on but the cap seems to be slightly too big to fit the cover over it. So my questions are:

Is it just a matter of really pushing the cover on hard?
-or-
Did you guys have to replace the cap?

Thanks!

Whoever they are, they're gonna make me track them down (Is it obvious I'm trying to keep this thread near the top? )

I'm sorry to tell you but you bought the wrong Nismo Fuel Cap Cover. Those will only fit larger cars with larger Fuel Cap Cover like Pathfinder, Murano and Infiniti FX35. I have a Pathfinder in the garage. Now, sell me your fuel cap cover for 20 bucks!

That cap looks nice ! I saw it at Nissan the other day and when they told me the price, I laughed. Let us know if you get it to fit. I can see myself doing something retarded like buying that !

Looks Great but.....I can't spend $50 on a gas cap. It adds no HP! LMAO!

Well considering people pay alot for Cefiro emblems, chrome gauge rings, battery tie downs, pedal covers, etc...

I think it looks good...

Isn't it the oil cap, not the gas cap?
