I far as I know nobody is injured, but check that number its now confirmed by some people in colorado 7.0. That's fricken nuts. You don't wanna be in one, believe me! I am on the 12 floor in a high rise building and we were ROCKIN AND JUMPIN under my desk. WORSE YET, I don't get to go home because I am in busy season.

I felt the quake today in Vancouver, BC too. It really shaked a lot since I was on the top floor of a building on top of a mountain (SFU)!

Thanks man... all is cool here. Alysia is fine too. We had a few messes in the house to clean up and the cats were a little scared but all is good. Got to leave work early too network and phones were down.

which states have NO disasters?....

i live in oklahoma, and i have to watch for tornadoes (i sh*t in my pants everytime it looks gloomy outsides) a tornado past by my house in that may 3 1999 tornado (it got my school). down here we have tornadoes, other states have earthquakes, and some have hurricanes and stuff. is there a state that rarely ever see's these types of disasters? that would be something for me to think of next time i move.

Chicago gets blizzards don't they? I believe a severe blizzard can count as a disaster. An AZ is so hot they don't need disasters

i could live in AZ....

i dont care about the heat much, it doesn't bother me (i'm indian, the kind from india, not a native indian), but i hate bugs. i went to my uncles house in big spring, TX, and they had some crazy *** looking bugs. being AZ, i know there must be a bunch there, have you encountered any wierd looking, unidentified things Mr. Burner?

Q 4 NorthWEST dudes/dudettes

where is the best place to ski?? I'm going to Vancouver next week for 8 days, and am thinking of Whistler, but I hate glitz, glamour and hype. I just want really good skiing without the BS and the overinflated lift tickets. I've been looking at Mount Baker on a map...also Mount Washington on Vancouver Island..any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanxs..on a bummer note...Nissan dealerships in BC/Vancouver DONT rent out their vehicles..What a drag!!!

i didn't consider blizzards a disaster (when i lived there...1983-1997, we didn't have any major blizzards)...arizona is hot, but its pretty nice and i've gotten used to it already

slick, there aren't many bugs around here...i live in scottsdale though, and i've heard that in places like tuscon they have more scorpions etc....once in awhile in the summer there are fairly big odd looking bugs but i've only seen a couple...we don't have any bees or mesquitos or anything here...in chicago, we had tons of them...they pissed me off so much, but here we really don't have any bugs at all

leob, i've actually never skied (sp?) before in my life...i've heard purgatory is supposed to be pretty good...also try aspen or vail if you want to go all out and spend a lot...but purgatory is supposed to be great...i think its in utah and lots of people go there
