CM Strut Bar question

Hey, I'm about to buy a strut bar from a fellow .org member. On CM's site it says something about small modifications. Does anyone know what this modification. TIA.

i had to unplug something to get it in place on the passenger side - then replug once it cleared.

then i had to slightly bend a piece of metal out of the way on one side. it was like a brace or something - jus t like a 1" square piece - bent with my bare hands to allow for clearance.

not sure if this is what CM is talking about or not. if so, nothing to worry about.
