Rear Brake Pad Question

I'm planning to replace the rear pads on a friend's '00 I-30. Will I have to adjust the parking brake after installing the new pads?

Also, this vehicle utilizes a foot pedal to apply the parking brake. Does anyone know where the adjustment mechanism is on this configuration?

It is self adjust. Apply the brake pedal a few times (with the engine on) until it is firm, then apply the foot brake to verify that it is working normal. Note: Make sure the cut out on the piston aligned with the little bump on the brake pad backing plate.
