Instrument panel failure

Intermittently, the Speedo, tach, fuel gauge, Odometer, and temp gauge just stop working.

If I catch it as it starts, it is somewhat progressive; the speedometer will start creeping even though I am driving at a steady speed. As it creeps, it will then just quit and the needle will drop. At about the same time the rest of the gauges will also drop. If the speed control is on, it will also malfunction.

This problem had stopped for about 8 months to a year but is back again - intermittently.

The gauges will start working again as suddenly as they quit.

You may want to just get a set of replacement speedo from the junkyard. It's a PITA to try to get the dealer fix it if it's intermittent like that.
