First of all, I still think this is a steal. They are NOT sleeves, like GC's.....second of all, I got screwed on my first 2 transactions on Egay, because my retarded hotmail , was blocking messages from people I won auctions from, and I got 2 negs to start ! ..Pizzed me off to all heck !

i am a33max.....i had same issues when i was using my hotmail account and when i would send them emails, they wouldn't respond....so he put bs stuff on my feedback....first guy screwed me....i sent him paypal and he didn't send me my stuff....so i retracted the payment.....

Before I regret not bidding on these, are these comparable (in terms of configuration) to Cattman Coilover SYSTEM that go for $1300?

 

We dont know yet, till we know for sure if they fit. If they do, this is a steal of the century.....we shall see......

Has anyone heard from the guy that won the last set of Tosers? Surely he had them installed by now? Also I went to the website that someone was talking about that had coilovers just like the Tosers. I think it was topspeed or something thing like that. They didn't have any listed for the maxima though, only the altima and sentra. I'm bout to lower my be-atch and I'm more concerned with quality than price. Taking the cheap way out has never gotten me very far. I'm set on coilovers for the adjustability. I definitaly want a good ride. Besides if a fat chick get's in the car, I can raise them up. when my Hooters girlfriend is with me then I can take them down low.

i'm then one that said toser = topspeed, i looked in the topspeed catalong and they only have a listing for maxima as far as coilovers....they are the Topspeed Pro-2 TS Coilovers..24 way adj. ...3.5" drop.....listed price was $1199....

as far as coilovers vs. springs and shocks.... 1 piece coilovers will make u regret ever thinking about springs/shocks...etc... i think only 1 piece coilovers for us is tien, jic, and topspeed....i believe the cattman are multi-piece, but not sure....

 

All coilovers are multi-piece, the difference between most are whether there is adjustable damping and pillow-ball upper mounts.

 

Calm down guys, I'm installing them hopefully tommorow or monday. I've been busy with christmas and moving into a new house. I will post comments and pictures as soon as i am done. Also has anyone found out if the 2001 cefiro suspension is the same as our 5 gen max.

BTW Will i need new strut mounts our can i use the stock ones. The coilovers didn't come with any.

 

I had to reuse mine with the cattman coilovers, no need for new ones. make sure you have a spring compressor when disassembling your stock struts. Good luck!
