Rust..already?

Rust..already?
I finally got around to taking my '00 into the dealer to look at my rust. On both the driver and pass. side rear windows, the piece separating the moveable window and the fixed portion had rust bubbles. The trunk had rust along the base and where it joined to the bumper it had leached on to stain the bumper. The dealer first tried to tell me the rust warranty was only good up 50K (I have 66K). I had to pull out the warranty book and show him the unlimited miles phrase. It's gonna put my Max in the shop for 2 days to replace, sand and paint. Anybody else found any rust on their 2K+ cars...don't be ashamed to come out of the glove box...
Mostly on underbody and under the hood... I think the previous owner let my car sit around for a good long time though...
Actually it surprises me when I work on the underbody, since it reminds me of working on an old junker (which is all I've ever worked on before this car)... makes me feel at home (rusty bolts/nuts, having to drench it in penetrating oil before working on some parts, etc.)

Rust on a 3-4 yr old car? Please say it aint so. My almost 14 yr old SEntra has ZERO rust on it and it has driven thru many NY winters and NEVER seen a garage! If my 02 shows rust after 3-4 years im going to be pi$$ed!!

According to the owners manual's 60months/unlimited miles, the rust will be taken care of. They will sand off the rust on the trunk and bumper then repaint.
The newer Max's ('03+?) apparently only cover up to 50K for rust.
