WarpSpeed Y-Pipe

Okay this is probably a repost so I first apologize. I did a search for this and found some info but not the answer to my specific question.

The warpspeed y-pipe for the 02-03 does this remove the pre-cats ? I know the 4th gen had then on the y-pipe but I think the precats are farther up on the manifolds. Are they ?

Anyone have pictures of this?

And why I am being a newbie for those that have a Warpspeed y-pipe on there 02 or 03 you like it ?

It does not remove the pre-cats. Their is fitment issues with the Warpspeed. The general consensus is that Cattman makes a better Y pipe for the 02-03.

Catman doesn't list a y-pipe on the their site for a 02-03 maxima. Anyone know how mouch they are selling them for if they do have them ?

That sounds like it would come from a cattman owner. I on the other hand had no fitting issues with the y-pipe, but the only problem I had is with the hanger that go's on the pipe. It would hit the two steel stems that's on the car. So you'll get alittle beng noise.

There are easy ways of fixing it, so it not that big adeal. You still save $80 dollars.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received my Cattman Y about a week ago. Total, including shipping and gaskets, runs about $400. Expensive, but worth it if you ask me.

You see, I only paid $290 with shipping and the gaskets. Now the total saving is $110. Go WSP.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS
I'am not trying to rally for WSP, and I also don't work there.!!!! I'am just to help you guyz and girlz save a little money.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if, it's still your money. So I you have it go Cattman, and if you don't go WSP. Both pipes are good, they even look the same.!!!!!!

The choice is your'es...

I owned a WSP, and there were HIDEOUS fittment issues with it. I am speaking from experience, and thats the same thing many other Org guys have encountered. I could care less if I save 110 bucks, if the damn thing doesnt fit properly. I still have their B pipe, and I had to have work done to it, so it would fit properly.. Plainly put, WSP makes GARBAGE, and that from someone who still has one of their products on my Max. Just my .02 cents....

My WSP B-pipe was 6" too short and had to have the pipe where it connects to the cat extended. The Y-pipe seems to be OK but took the muffler shop a bit of time to anchor it down properly....
