Stillen vs. Cattman y-pipe

I'm only debating between the cattman and stillen y-pipe.

Cattman:
-Stainless steel
-Mandrel bent
-new gens have improved flex section
-around $375

Stillen:
-Mild steel, ceramic coated
-Mandrel bent (?)
-around $350

The issue is whether or not the ss piping in the cattman will have more heat dissapation than the ceranmic coated stillen piping. Supposedly ceranmic coated pipes will hold the heat better, letting exhaust gases travel out faster. I live in cali, so i'm not worried about rust.

What do you think?

I wrapped my y-pipe, but that's because I wanted to.

Go with the Stillen.....It's cheaper in price and a better quality pipe. I wouldn't recommend a Cattman Y-pipe, I have had problems with mine.

I recently ordered the Cattman SS y-pipe. The price is $350 not $375 and the Stillen is $345 or so; not much of a price difference. I went with the Cattman because from what I have read on the boards it is excellent quality and, since I live in the NorthEast, I wanted SS instead of ceramic. If I lived in Cali such as yourself I probably would have gone with the Stillen....

Brian said that my order should be going out next week......

What about budget and warpspeed? My entire exhaust cost less than just one of those pipes. I would just drop the extra cash for headers if you have 4 bills to throw down for a ypipe. I dont know much about warpspeed but budget parts are 304 SS, mandrel bent, and their y has a nice flex that few have had problems with. The y-pipe only costs $160.

If you're not worried about rust (like me), just order the warpspeed aluminized Y pipe for ~220 shipped and wrap it with an exhaust wrapping to trap the heat in.
