Question on Headlights/Bulbs

well juss the other day my stock bulbs on my 2k Max got burnt out and i went to the dealership to see how much it would to replace them and the parts guy told me it was about 20 some dollars plus like 30 some for labor. However i was thinking maybe i should just get some brighter bulbs cuz my stock ones are quite dim and kinda want an upgrade however i dont exactly want to spend too much money for something that might just get stolen later. So i was wondering if i could get any input on if i should just get the stock ones for cheap or invest in some better/brighter bulbs. Also i really want those DDEs frum Umnitiza and get a 2k2 conversion but im not too sure where i can get one but i know my wallet is probably going to kick my *** after im done. =T well any suggestions would help. Thanks

$30 labor to change bulbs are crazy, if u have the $ and your car is kept in a garage then sure upgrade to HIDs, but otherwise jus invest in some better bulbs.

I jus order a set of PIAA Xtreme Whites for $50.

No offense, but you went to the dealership for an estimate on replacing headlight bulbs? Did you think of trying Checker or Auto Zone??

It's hard not to make that question look like I am flaming him, but I really do want to find out if he knows he can get new bulbs for $8 and install them himself.

In his defense, I took my car to the dealership when I was 16 to have the dome light bulb replaced (although the car was having electrical trouble beforehand and I thought it might be related).

BTW, your headlight bulbs is H4. You can start here: www.autobarn.com or www.optauto.com

$30 to replace bulbs? You can do that yourself. It's easy.

Never heard of getting halogen bulbs stolen so get some PIAA Xtremes. They are brighter than stock.
