Climate Controls

What type of modifications need to be made to replace the standard climate controls with the digital/automatic controls. i found the upgraded one for sale, but wanted to know what needed to be changed other than just exchanging the parts.

Talked to a dealer, he said can't be done without a donor car. I have the auto climate control, honest, its nice but the car never really gets comfortable. You hit the right temp and it shuts down, not all its cracked up to be in my opinion. Chris

The auto function shuts down once you hit the right temp and remains shut down until the temp changes again. In my experience, the inside temp of the car doesn't change much once it reaches your desired temp, unless you open the doors or windows, then the auto function kicks in again.

I also wanted to do this ever since I got the ride, but it just seems way too hard.

Nope, your A/C stays on with it... For that reason I'm not crazy about the "Auto" controls...

Really, people should just call them Digital and Analog. I had a 300ZTT and this Max both with digital controls, I would much rather have Analog/Manual control anyday.
