How Many?

Have burnt the harness or worse using higher than stock wattage bulbs. mainly 100W+. Please, after all this talk about harnesses goin out and shorts, I'm kind of leery about high wattages and the expensive after-effects. No flames please, I'm here to learn from fellow maxima owners just like you. thx

Burned a harness using cheapo, no name bulbs. It took only few months. Costed $200 to replace entire harness. Haven't had problems w/ PIAA for 3 years though

what was the wattage and what needs to be protected or upgraded, connector or the whole headlight harness. you said it took few months? i figured it would've burnt it upon first power-up. thx

no problems with the harness during the month I used a 100 watt high. Old car had no issues either for about 1.5 years
