are rotors covered under warranty?

dealer stated that warped rotors are only covered under 1 year 12,000 warranty.

is this BS???

I have 23,000 on 2003. Rotors are junk I know but i want them to pay for it.

Brake pads are not covered, but the rotors are covered. I'm sure the dealership conveniently left that part out.

They should be covered. I had my warped rotors resurfaced at around 8000miles...

Is there documentation on this?? I am receiving the same resistance from the dealer with my car. Rotors are crap and pulse really hard when stopping. Get the thing heated up for any reason and it feels like the front end is going to fall off.

I have been into the dealer a few times. No Luck.

If it is covered it should be some place that I can get physical documentation on it.

I just had my rotors machined and brake pads changed yesterday (40k miles now) and though the pads are not covered by warranty, the rotors were if i brought it in before my 36k was up.

And no, it's not covered by extended warranty (which i have till 75k).

There is a TSB(check above sticky) for 2000 that states they are covered for 3yr/36K, HOWEVER that doesn't mean 2001+ are also covered.

Yup thats about the answer I got when going back this afternoon. Showed me the entry in the warranty book and even called Nissan on speaker phone while I was there. And suprise suprise Nissan refused to cover it even as a show of good will.

Service writter at the dealership said if it were a Chevy they wouldn't even question it I could have had 38,000 and they still would have done it. Nissan is really starting to **** me off.
