Pics of Fog Light replacements are up!
Still got the stock fogs, gonna keep them tho incase one of the new ones bites the dust (or gets a highway rock tossed inside it).
I had a hard time getting the digital camera to capture the lights the way they appear in reality too. They match the HID's almost perfectly.
I'm undecided on whether or not I like the look of that blueish casing in daylight tho... I guess its kinda cool, but I dunno. Might end up swapping for a pair of clear ones. Lemme know what ya'll think

I dont think the blue color will cause hassle. There are tons of cars that have colored lights, mine look just like HIDs when on, compared to some other things I've seen, like purple headlights, green corning lights, white blinkers, etc etc etc, I'm not too worries. However, I guess the blue isnt completely legal huh? Hopefully the cops wont be jerks about it. Oh well, they work so much better than stock lights.
I too wish they were bigger tho, fill up the whole gap. You dont notice it from 15+ feet away, looks fine cause its all shadow like, but up closer than that, the gap is kinda fugly. Its too bad they dont make the lights like 1 more inch....

The brand is Navigator, and the lights are called Cyber White driving lamps. Make note that the color is partially due to my Xenon bulbs that I previously had in my stock fog lights, those match the HID's real well anyways, and in these driving lights its even better. As far as blue light, as I said before its very similar to the stock HID color in person. Slightly less blue, but very slightly. Your 7000k lights emit more of a purple color tho, dont they? I'm not exactly sure, but I thought as you got higher up the k numbers, the light went from blue to more purple.
Oh and I bought these at Walmart, dont know if I mentioned that in this post, but just incase, thats where they came from. $20 less than the same or very similar lights cost at Pep Boys

Good suggestion with the clear coat stuff, I might hafta pick some of that up
THe beam pattern is a relativly flat line projected straight out. THere is some side lighting as well, significantly more than the regular headlights do. The lights would benefit from a higher wattage bulb, but I'm not gonna take the risk of burning a wiring harness.

On ebay look at the super blue or something like that. The are for the Asia market but they claim they are 8000k. Ive never seen them in person so I dont know how they look.
While he gets pics, these are driving lamps so the beam pattern will look approximately like this:
It's pretty accurate as both of my cars that had these matched the above description.
For those willing to deal w/the gap & want the IS look, the same co. also makes fog lamps which are pretty yellow. At places like Pepboys they go under the Blazertech 2200 name for around $60, but I'm sure Walmart probs. has their version for about ~$20 cheaper. Fog beam pattern per PIAA:

Lumbee1, that pic is the dimensions of the driving lights bigdo26 installed. Stock fogs are larger than 4".
Slick, when I installed them, I just cut out a round piece of plexi, drilled 2 holes (top + bottom) and attached the fog bracket to the plexi w/another 2 holes + screws. The top & bottom holes allowed me to mount them using the stock holes in the fog openings so there was no modification to the car itself at all. Start to fin. should only take about 2 hours this way as there's no wiring to do, just use the stock stuff.
I wonder how bigdo26 installed them though, cutting that plexi was a pain in the a$$.

Car is parked on an incline so the wheel gap is a bit large.... I installed them just be screwing the mounting brackets into the opening for the fogs, it was fairly easy. I'll probly re-install them using another method eventually.
I agree, the blue is a lil rice like, but it looks ok in person and my gf hasnt noticed them yet, so they cant stick out that much
They look awsome at night too, so that makes it worth it

you can get away with the blue because the color of your max- when I had Luminix Ionic blue film on my fogs it looked
on my black car- since black looks better with sharp contrast- so i try to stay clear
this film did give 100% match to my hids though...
but after ~ 2 months it began to show burn marks
from the heat of the bulbs..
