I bought my car nearly two years ago and it doesn't have any chips on it.

My car was garage kept too for the first 6 months, but unless you're driving it down the highway with a garage around it then I don't see any way that you have NO chips. I bet if you give me 10 seconds to look at your hood, front bumper area and rear view mirror I could find some. They may be small and hard to notice...but it doesn't mean they aren't there.

And yeah...digital pix...that should prove it. I'm sure there's no way to manipulate them ahead of time.

Perhaps you have not seen my cardomain homepage. I use a Colgan Custom bra and mirror bras. I would not want to take your money on a bet. I am very picky when it comes to my car as most other Maxima owners are. I have a few pits in my windshield but there are none on the paint. I keep the bras on 95% of the time. In fact, it's on there right now.

Well duh, I hope you don't have any chips if you're using bras. Maybe next time you should mention that in the first place since the rest of us were obviously talking about the paint itself.

Yeah, the fact that it isn't clear makes a big difference.

"no chips" is a strong statement. I guarantee I could find chips on a maxima (or most any other car) that only has 1000 miles on it. You mean nobody's ever dinged you with their door in a parking garage or no rock has ever kicked up from a tire and chipped your rocker panel. They show up real good on my black max...you guys with silver/light colors probably dont even notice them since the undercoat is gray and blends right in with your topcoat....

no chips....keep thinking that.

No BS, my car is clean. There aren't any chips whatsoever. Well, it is garage kept and I don't go so fast on the highway. My 1993 max has a couple with a scratch.
