Error codes question.
Error codes question.
Ok if the SES light comes on and one of the codes thrown is misfire on cyl. 2, how reliable is it to say that cyl. 2 is definitely the problem. In my case I have 3 misfires on cyl. 2, 2 bad cat. codes, and one bad coil pack code.
So what I'm wonderingis, is it accurate enough that buying a new coil pack for cyl. 2 should fix the problem (I've allready eliminated unusually cold weather and spark plugs, so I'm pretty sure its a coil pack)?

I would say that you are pretty safe in assuming that. When my #6 coil went out I had a misfire on the #6 cyl.
