I've been looking at leasing an Audi S4, but they want way to much for it. I'm gonna probably end up leasing FX35/45 in October, but I'll still keep a Max as everyday car. I put 60 miles a day on it

The next M6. And a 1987 BMW 635ci, 1989 BMW 850ci, MB CL65, 1960's Aston DBjet by Zagato, and a 1966 Iso Rivolta with a 350 Chevy. Mmmmmm......

Same boat as you adam...gonna pay off the Max, then onto something new, although by then it'd make a great daily driver.

If it were right now, I'd want either a TL, G35, 4runner or something...don't want to go European just yet...

Oops. Made a mistake... the Aston is a DB-4 jet by Bertone, not Zagato. Got confused

I'll never sell the max, I want to mod it as far as I can.
Next year I want to buy an BMW X5, 2001-2002 if I can find one for a decent price.

Cheers

Hey jattmax, the E55 is a steal for the price. The SL is at least 20k more and the CL is over that. 469 hp and you got 4drs? Nothing can beat it... not even the Audi.

I'm thinking collector car. I'd like to find an original condition pacer or gremlin.
If that doesn't work 5 series BMW or Lexus GS

jattmax, go to the Brabus homepage and look at the kits they have for the E55. Those guys have the best aftermarket kits around.

I think I will stay with my maxima for another..ohh......forever .......and MODIFY. It will be like new right??
Off course the body will get old but what can you do.

SKYLINE R34 is my next choice next to the MAXIMA.
MAYBE AN SRT-4

THAT WILL BE MY F.U.C.K. AROUND CAR.

Depends on where I'm at in 5 years, If I'm looking to buy another sports car, if things keep on the same track it looks like ill be going back to the 90s to find a sports car. After working on and building some of these new "sports" cars they lack something, that something is quality. I guess it's the competitive price they are trying to market them at or something, and they like to cut alot of corners. The old 94-98 Supras were 55K New but you got a car that was worth $55,000. Same goes for skylines, 300z's.

If I'm going to buy a luxury car I love the M45, that's an amazing car and it seems to be very rare as well. It will more then likely hold it's resale value, for one since Infinity has about a 5-8 year trend before they totally render any body styles.

SUV, Hmm, here's another tough one, the not so tough H2 seems to be a pile of .... I'd probably get an Escalade or something (Granted they're still available).

I plan on keeping the max for another 4 years or so then getting a g35 coupe or a nice used m3 or m5 if I can afford it.

There is no question, the Next car after the I35 will be the equivalent of the Rs-6 or e55. Preferrably something AWD. (Rs-6) In cash of course.

G35 AWD Wagon. I saw a wagon version a while back (C&D, R&T)?
Anybody heard more on this?
I would gladly skip the wagon and AWD part but I gotta cart the kids and the Collie up to the cabin.

Benj, check this out on the stock E55:

Seems like that 469hp is VERY understated. It IS hard to beat!!

I think it time to go european and get the BMW X5 3.0 or 4.4.

BTW the gx looks kinda tall and skinny.

I can just imagine putting a Hamann body kit on it, a remus exhaust, and angel eyes.

Audi S4 Avant (2.7t motor chipped with exhaust to 330hp). AWD, 6 speed tranny, ESP. They're rare.

Also like the Allroad with the twin turbo V6 motor.

Possibly new Skyline when it hits the states. Not sure what the price on that mother is gonna be.

I just sent off my last car payment yesterday. It feels very good to see those savings rack up now.

The new E55 AMG in a couple of years seems like a good idea.
