I hear some org members talk about silicone, if so where? I just popped the new ones in like the old ones came out. Do I need it to prevent condensation or am I safe?

Some people are safe from condensation without the silicon. I did mine just in case. It' all up to you!

What portion do you silicone? Where the bulb and rubber washer connect to the light housing?

I would strongly advise it. I put two coats of silicone on my new rear clears because my first set got moisture in them. I put it around the seam where the outer lens attaches to the body. Let the first coat dry before putting on the second one.

So basicly where the clear lense is attached to the housing / backing reinforce it with silicone because the factory seal doesnt hold up real well?

I know this has been brought up many times before, but what bulbs are you using in the rear. I am heard some look pink, some aren't bright, etc.... I saw one car with white in the front and rear side markers but I thought that was illegal.

Yes. I apllied a thin bead of silicone and spread it into the joint with my finger. Some do and some don't. My fronts never got any moisture in them. Only one of my four lights ever got moisture in them. There is no way to know in advance if they will repel condensation.

Like everyone else said, this is a must do BEFORE any condesation ever has a chance to occur.

Ah so thats why the ones I bought from someone had what I thought was hot glue all the way around... now it makes sense!
And for bulbs: 194 orange bulbs all around are what I used, but you can use 168 bulbs as well

eah you should do this to be safe. But some are good and don t get moisture in it. Just do it to be safe. BTW you should buy piaa hyperwhites with them. That's a really nice set up!

Is it normal once reinstalled for the rear clears to be a little loose in the bumper? Mine seem to not be as tight as the front. They're secured and seal with silicone. Just double checking, something I noticed as I was finishing.

I would assume it's normal because I just installed mine and they were the same way. I used red LED (4 bulbs) in each rear, front used white LED but it looks blueish (even more so than the polarg I have in the parking light), looks good.
Did not use silicone but hey, they're only for off road use anyway so they
should be strong as hell right!

Funny you should ask that. The first set I had were both tight in the slots. On my new rears, one of them is tight and the other has a little movement when I touch it. I have not taken it off to look at yet.

Is it an install problem...or maybe a suttle trick we don't know about? I assume after putting them in there's only one way they go in...
