After market strut and spring problem

I bought 5th gen KYB AGX struts and 5th gen Tein springs. The front went together with no problem but the teins wont work witht he rear struts. They dont seem to seat all the way down, so I had to use my stock struts with the teins. Do I have to buy teins for a 4th gen to make it work? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Thats cause the AGX struts are modified 4th Gen struts therefore requiring 4th Gen springs.

The rear springs with the AGX do not seat properly during installation. However when the car is lowered off the jacks the weight of the car on springs should force them into the seat, atleast they did with my H&R. You do not need to run 4th gen springs.

I thought about that, but was to afraid to try and my frined helping me didnt want to try either. It looked like the spring would have to open up close to 1 inch in diameter to seat properly. Have you had any problems from the springs or struts since the install? Thanks for the info.
