warrenty question

Would putting a Frankencar intake void my warrenty with nissan?

if your MAF happens to blow, just put ur stock airbox back on and pretend you dont kno nothing...

Hey I was going to do that when I got my injen but I was wondering wouldn't they know that the stock MAF was removed

Screw that.....I just bought an extra MAF assembly (about 100 bucks) from my local dealer and keep it stored in the trunk....

Yeah, you have to spend 100 bucks, but think about it this way:

1. if the MAF blows in the middle of nowhere, you don't have to putter under 2500rpms until you find a dealer.

2. Don't have to deal with (in my case) taking off the frankencar.

3. Don't have to deal with dealer BS

4. Don't have to leave car at dealer and be inconvenienced...

IMHO, well worth a hundred bucks!!!!
