New speakers

What's up Org. members,

I have just replaced my speakers over the weekend and what a difference it made. I have MB Quart componenets with crossovers in front, MB Quart reference series in the rear, JL 10" sub and an Eclipse 5 channel amp (the amp powers all the speakers). I did keep the factory head unit for looks sake and steering wheel controls. Now the Max has great sound. My installer said changing the factory head unit really wouldn't make much of a difference because it just picks up radio signals and I listen to CD's most of the time. I must say it again, Now the Max, has great sound.

You have to power them with an external amp right? They cant be run off of the Bose amps can they? I already have some 6.5 Infinity Kappas that I want to put in the front doors but don't wanna run all the amp work. Lazy I guess

Congratulations, glad you decided to shuck the factory sounds, and get some serious audio equipment, it seems you have seen the light!
