Stillen RSB vs. Progress RSB

Before I get the Stillen I would like to hear from people who have the Progress RSB. Isn't it the Stillen knockoff that has the same design/materials? I might be wrong about this one.....

No, the Cattman/Progress RSB is similar in design to the Addco RSB. I have the Cattman/Progress RSB and it works great. A good value when compared to the Stillen.

The Stillen has a different design although there is now someone out there that makes a knockoff of that design using the same materials. You can find that knockoff on eBay, just search for 'Maxima sway.'

Peace.

Well, really what I am concerned about is the ABS line clearance. I've read about having to modify the bracket so the sway bar doesn't mess up the brake fluid line or something like that...I dunno. From what I can tell, the Stillen was designed to eliminate the need to modify the bracket. It's supposed to fit right the first time with no rigging. I agree about the adjustment issue too. I doubt I will get back under there unless there is a problem. I wanna install it and forget it. So, is the Progress the Stillen knockoff or does someone else make it? Thanks

Great. So did you notice a substantial difference after you put the Cattman on?

Both work extremely well but the Cattman/Progress/Addco is MUCH cheaper. Think of all the other mods you could put on with the extra money.

I have had my RSB on for more than a year and couldn't imagine the car without it. Installation was a breeze. The Addco did/does not use the higher quality components of the Cattman/Progress.

Stealin IMO is a waste of money.

The Cattman/Progress/Addco design does not require modifying anything or removing anything to install.

And contrary to popular belief, it is adjustable as well.

I got mine on GD 110 shipped. That was a while ago, but i never touched it since the install and everything is perfect. The car defintley handles a lot better with that bar, holds the back and doesnt let it get thrown around lol

By chance, I checked the group deals link late last night and SWA had 3 of the cattmans left for the $95 price. I just finished paying for it, 109 shipped to Calif. No more left now.

I also looked at a link that was posted for installing the ADDCO: https://maxima.org/shoptalk/sub_modi...sb/index.shtml

Progress/Cattman bar is just about the same, and, it does not appear to interfere with the abs lines. Simple to do, no drilling or anything, and everone seems to say the Cattman is just as good.

By the way, even the stillen ebay knock off went for $165 with shipping, so the Cattman is still the deal to beat unless you can find a used stillen from someone.

How is the Stillen a "waste of money" ??
It works exactly as its supposed to, is made of high-quality componets (as far as I can tell) and has a good reputation.....I have found that it was extremely easy to install (and instructions were very good) and it looks good as well, if you are looking for it.

Just because it's more expensive than a similar product that also works, that doesn't make it a "waste of money".

That's like saying buying a Rolex watch is a waste of money, since you can spend $20 and get on at KMart that tells time just as well.

Not a waste of money, just a personal preferece. It would only be a waste of money if it didn't do what it is supposed to.....

speaking of rolex did you know you can buy new authorized rolex for only 3k in us dollars overseas in hk. It would be great that a company would sell stillen part for wholesale price.

Heh, how do you go about adjusting it?

Side and rear brackets are adjustable.

Move side brackets inwards (towards the bends) and beam brackets towards the center for "loose" and side brackets outwards and beam brackets towards the bends for "tight".
