Yeah I just changed my opinion. I'm totally with dark bnlue to black or silver. But aren't our calipers already silver?

They're more of a coppery-silver blend. They're ugly as hell.

The FoliaTec paint is the best. I've used it twice on two of my maximas and its the best paint out there. Except more money.

I've used both the G2 and the spray stuff and I have had no complaints with either. Actually I prefer the spray stuff because it is easier to use.

I got the GR 2 kit and it was about $40 shipped. In my pics my calipers look light blue, but they are a true blue. Do this yourself, it was simple. All you need are jackstands a jack, wire brush, some painters tape, can of brake cleaner and the paint kit. You will need to let your car sit on jackstands overnight(supposed to wait 24 hours.) Jack car up, take wheels off, put it on the jack stands. Spray calipers with brake cleaner first, then clean them with soap and water. Use the wire brush to scuff the calipers up a little and to clean remaining dirt off. Tape off your rotors near the caliper so you don't get any paint on the rotors. Make sure all calipers are clean. Then mix paint according to directions. Just paint it on with the supplied brush. Then let car sit for 24 hours if possible. May take longer to dry depending on climate.

I got in on the group buy. I wanted blue for my majestic blue max. As far as the G2 kit, the blue is actually a light powder blue. Almost baby blue. NO BUENO.

I changed my order to red. But hey, its your car, do whatever you want.

I used Dupli-color high temp engine paint Ford blue. You can even get high temp clearcoat to seal it.

Thanks Ablythe

whichever color you get, nobody can judge you. Only you can judge yourself. If you like pink on your Sunlit SAnd, by all means go for it. Im just going to say "IM NOT FEELING IT" but I cant force you to hate your own calipers. But dude, the blue is a light colored blue. People who have majestic blue might just think twice if they think it matches. Just some advice.

It shouldn't come off. unless it's non-heat resistant paint.

After I put my rims on, my calipers stood out very bad and looked funky. They were always dirty and in my opinion I think it dresses up my rims as well as the wheel well. With any of the kits there should be no need to repaint, not sure about spray paint. Just do it right the first time and you shouldn't have to worry about it ever again.
The blue is a light blue and would not look right on a majestic blue Max. I love the way the blue matches with the grey lustre.
