Tune Up

The manual and brochure say that the car does not need a tune up for the first 100k miles. Has anyone tuned up his car before that?

yes people reported that the some spark plug where worn it 40k mi and at 60k mi they are all worn out. alot of people replace at 60K because it very hard to take out after 60k and you notice verynice pull and it all worn out. do waite until 100K

Not sure exactly what you consider a "Tune up" but tranny fluid needs replaced every 30k and don't forget your air filter.

Houscor, sorry, I should have been more clear. Tune up, at least to me, means replacing the spark plugs, and in the case of the Max, the brochure says they will be good for 100k miles.

NYC Tar, thanks for "catching my drift."
