I'm interested in the 350Z horns. How do they sound? Those clear turn signals make the headlights look so much better!

Yeah, I'd like to know how the stock horns sound.
Could you please post a sound clip?
The reason I'm asking is because I installed the racing horns for 350Z 550Hz and 650Hz from Japan. And they sound a little weird.

Where did you buy the horns from and are they a direct replacement?

yes, one plug....

I got them from DaveB (SouthPointNissan) ~$60-70 for both

I dont know if they are "better" than the Hellas (300Hz/500Hz)
but these are 400Hz/500Hz horns- in my opinion any horn is better sounding than stock (according to DaveB some org members have purchased Altima horns from him)

How do the racing horns sound? I was bidding on a set on ebay a while back and I lost by $1.
How "weird" do they sound?

You just have to hear them. They have this heigh pitched sound which remainds me of this old car.
I'll post a clip tomorrow.
Does anyone know if running a ground wire would improve anything?

You put in white bulbs for the turn signal?
See I did this in my 2k1 AE headlights but I didn't like it. They don't match the headlight with HID so it looks bad. With the brightness of HID it will never match. I went back to stock amber to give contrast. This with the LED mirror covers (once installed) with or without 2k2-2k3 headlight swap will look better with the amber.
2k2-2k3 tails you don't need to worry about cops but one night chaning a tire I got harassed by a cop in Brooklyn that my hazards shouldn't be bright white ... (don't they have anything else better to do?)

the lens above the blinker(clearance/parking) lights have Eurolites and I have PIAA Xtreme whites- if you notice when on they both put out same color output-

theres absolutly not a fog or clearance bulb in the market that will match the HID 's-
