more air? long

okay, if I get more air to the throttle body than more power, right?

please no flames on this, just a suggestion.

well, as we all know, we have fans for our cpu's that run at amazing speeds and blow a sh@tload of air, and they run off 12DC. what if we had one installed right at the throttle body and had this thing turn on when you floor it. Power Increase?

Just a thought?

no, not tornado air. I said a fan. maybe and 80mm spinning 6 or 7000rpm. tornado air does not "blow" air.

CPU fans don't spin that fast. The average turbocharger spins at 80,000 rpms.

Engines draw a LOT of air. I mean a LOT of air. Consider that superchargers can take upwards of 100HP from the crank just to push enough air through to keep the intake manifold at positive pressure with the engine running at high RPMs. CPU fans are measly gimps in comparison.

try running a straw through your firewall. maybe you could just blow thru it when you need more power. that would be as effective.

A regular straw or a crazy straw?
