O2 sensors replaced already...yeesh!
I only drive my Maxima (2001) on the weekends since I have a 100 miles round trip commute to work. My beater car is pretty reliable but I took out the Max for a ride to work. I was driving home and the SES light came on.. WTF? I only hve 20K miles on it and the light came on?!?!? Thank god it was under warranty.
Took it to the dealer and they pulled the codes. Here was the diagnostic:
Confirm customer concern and found DTC Code (P0140) HO2S2 B1, needs O2 Sensor and ECM Reprogram. Replace O2 sensor and reprogram ECM to resolve sucotmer concern.
Yup, 2 O2 sensors.. would have costed me over $400 for the parts and labor. Why so soon for these sensors to die? Nissan...gotta love 'em!
