How do you adjust Progress Sway Bar?

How do you adjust Progress Sway Bar?

I just installed my Progress Sway Bar and it is so worth the money. Since there is no search I have to ask this. I understand that this sway bar is adjustable. How do you adjust it? And what would make it the car stiffer or looser?

BTW, go Southwest!!! $109 is a great price!

I believe the farther apart you place the bushings (the ones that attach the RSB to the stock sway bar) the stiffer the bar acts. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

You are correct. However, the parking brake cable makes the bracket choice selection very limited. You probably will end up having to put the bracket close to the edge of the bar like everyone else, ~1-.5 inches from the edge. This is greate for those wanting maximum stiffness whch I'm guessing is the reason you bought the RSB in the first place. Have fun installing it.

I thought it was the other way around? I just moved mine to the rear of the brake bolts and it felt a bit stiffer than before.

Plus it just makes more sense, the less length you put on that section of the bar the less it is able to actually bend the bar. Simple geometry stuff there, closer you get to your pivot point the harder it is to bend it. Kinda like taking a piece of rebar that is 5 feet long and trying to bend it compared to a piece of rebar that is 1 foot long.

Thanks guys. I think Matto357 is right. One more thing, the Progress Sway bar came with grease. I didn't put it on (i was in a rush and forgot...a rookie mistake). Is the grease for inside the bushings important?

without the grease you might get that creaking noise over speed bumps and stuff, especially in the cold.
