Has anyone else had some frustrations with the 2 position armrest in the newer maxima? It seems the higher position is too high and the lower is too low.

Just call me a 6' 0" goldilocks.

Has anyone looked into tweaking with this thing? I doubt there's anything out there, but thought I'd try. I like the CD storage bin--lots of decent room. But the armrest is a bit annoying. The Audi's have a cool multi-position armrest. I bet they fix this in next year's model?

I think the armrest would REALLY be in my way if I as rowing my own. I have an auto .

Also, what's the consensus on cleaning wheels, maintaining the leather, and waxing the paint? Any recommendations are appreciated!

Darn adjustable armrest...

Search for my old post on this. The thing pisses the hell out of me with a manual tranny...I bump that damn button all the time. I'll take any ideas you come up with on tweaking the thing.

I agree with your comments about the two heights being wrong for 6-footers.

I'm 6'4" and i sometimes bump the button too when i am slamming through the gears. But when i am cruising on the highway it is quit comfortable in the high position.

urgh!!

I've got a manual tranny and most of the time I'm pretty good at avoiding that armrest pop-up button, BUT...you just have those days where you hit it all day long!! Like some responses I've read, I was ready to rip out the whole center console and toss it out the window!!!!! LOL!
