Indiglo gauge cluster

Do anyone have a write-up on how to install indiglo gauge cluster? My friend told me not to do it because the needles are prone to get stuck.

Any help would be appreciated

well u can look at my www link for pics, but the install is easy, find the how to for installing chrome gauge rings.

all u have to do is remove the 3 bolts on the bottom of the plastic steering column, then use a screwdriver to pop the top part off. now the hard part. remove the two bolts on top of the cluster and then remove the cluster itself. might help if u lower your steering wheel all the way down. took me a while. if you do it right then the needles will not get stuck, but i messed up and i had to go trhough that whole ordeal, just make sure the new gauges are flush with the old gauges, they kind of "snap" on.

the only problem that i notice now, is that my needle might get stuck at 80, and then start moving again if i slow down a lot or if i accelerate alot.

i will actually be removing the indiglo gauges soon and trying to make the lights llok white instead of stock yellowish.

hope this helps.

I don't like the indiglo guages. I just want to make the guages have super white light.

the reason ur speedometer gets stuck is cuz the new gauge u just put on, it makes the needle "rub" against it and gets caught around 80. i just used spray adhesive and stuck mine onto the factory titanium guages, its as flush as its gonna get... after that i never had a problem...
