Just installed a Courtesy FSTB on my 2K GXE. Just as a sanity check the original black strut rings should be removed before putting on the Courtesy rings, right? The originals have metal tabs on them that on the driver side prevents the Courtesy ring from laying flat. None of the posts seem to mention this so I thought I'd ask just to make sure I didn't screw it up .
