My 01 se 5 speed seems to be lurching when i just let off the gas when i am still in gear. Then when i accelerate again it lurches forward. Is this normal or do i have a problem?

No it's not. Otherwise, Nissan USA wouldn't have demanded that Nissan Japan address the problem. But perhaps you know more than Steve Thomas knows, MI2KSE. If so, please illuminate us with your acumen.
