can anyone help

My SES light just came on while i was driving my car. It is a 2001 GLE with 72k miles. If it matters, its 27 degrees outside. How can i find out whats wrong with my car?

I'd recommend taking it to your local auto parts store to get the code pulled. More parts stores do this for free now. Then you'll know exactly what's wrong. Repost after you get the code.
