I would Appreciate any input on how to take the ****er off my 01. Also any good shifters out there for manuals?

Check the group deals forum. There is deal on the B&M short shifter right now. I just got mine and have not installed it yet.

you unscrew it counterclockwise... left loose, right tight... it's the golden rule..
