clutch whines in first gear

hiya

well heard an unpleasant sound today....i know that it is -10 or so over here but when i accelerate in first gear and let go of the clutch there is a tiny whine sound. It only happens in first gear and it doesnt happen every time. i already set up an appointment for next saturday to get it checked out

hope this is covered under warranty, and if the guy says that it is not then ill fight them (about 4 months earlier i came to them with a clutch being too sensitive and the car jerks too much complaint) i drive other cars stick, and this is by FAR the most sensitive clutch ever, all my friends say the same thing....

any ideas if this is alright in cold weather or is this a serious problem. i remember seeing *my clutch whines* posts, but i was unable to find them.

BTW, you should go to Evanston Nissan. Amazing service or North Shore Nissan if it doesn't work at your dealer.

Nissan gave me a new clutch on my 2002 with 24K miles on the clock no questionsd asked. They didn;t even test drive-just did it. They apologized that they could not also replace throw out bearings since Nissan wouldn;t pay for that too. :-)
