Will somebody please tell me more about this. Search doesnt work, so i just want to hear what people have to say about the emanage. What can this do for our cars? Does it really do everything this site says it will? http://www.alamomotorsports.com/prod...d_emanage.html Are there any dyno results? How hard is it to tune?
If you dont have a boosted car, this really isnt for you. There is no cost benefit to use this with normal bolt on mods.
If you are boosted like many of us, this can do wonders.
For us we can definetely use this to put in larger injectors, advance and retard timing, and adjust airflow readings to fine tune. It also does datalogging which is very helpful when tuning or while making runs on the track to do on track adjustments.
Thats the main reason I got one. Since for my car they dont make a ecu that does all this yet.

Hey Dixit,
Aside from the raised redline, what does the TechnoSquare ECU reflash do that the Emanage doesnt? Why wouldnt this give decent power for a fully modded N/A 5th gen? Is 8-12whp too much to expect? If i could gain about 10whp i would say its worth the $500, especially since i plan to turbo my car eventually.
ps -- btw i finally fixed my abs/speedo. It was a loose wire in the abs unit.
The reason why the TS ecu is better is because they reflash the entire fuel map. Where the emanage is basically trying to manipulate the maps.
Ive seen too many people put fuel controllers on NA cars and dont see more than 2-3whp. So to me it just doesnt seem worth it at all.

If you dont have a boosted car, this really isnt for you. There is no cost benefit to use this with normal bolt on mods.
But there are those cases, like mine, where the unit is needed just to correct for a faulty ECU adjustment.
There's alot more to my story about why I need one even though I'm N/A. If you want to know all the details, PM me.
As far as the E-Manage itself, it's great if you have larger injectors, upgraded fuel system, or boost. But it's a unit that is "don't buy it unless you need it". The only way to know if you need it is to go dyno your car with at least 2 runs (with air/fuel readings), post it on the .org, and let us tell you if you could benefit from it.
Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT buy one unless you need it. You will gain nothing if you don't need it.
