I currently have a 5spd 2k maxima gxe..I only have the GAB/OSCAI installed on the car. I am going to buy a y-pipe soon;however, I wanted to find out from you guys what would be the highest HP/$ ratio for the next mod after GAB and y-pipe? My goal is to hit 14.5-14.6 1/4 all motor. thanx in advance!

 

heard the Cattman headers for the 3.0 are pretty nice, also think of cams if they are out (not sure for the 3.0 VQ)

 

Your goal is 14.5, mine is 14.1.!!!!!!!!!! And with a automatic. I think my next mod is going to be the stage 2 VB. And then some custom engine porting along with a Phantom Grip limited slip.....

PS If I where you, I would get the cattman headers as well, but if you don't have the $899 just get the y-pipe and a catback. Remember your car need to make alease 190hp on a dyno to run a 14.5 or less. And maybe you should get a lightweight flywheel and a race/street clutch as well........ Hope this helps.!!!!!!!

 

hey, mine puts out 200hp at the axles all stock, so with the wheels on I guess it could go down to ~190, sooo, does that mean I could run 14.5? Plus I got Frankencar catback installed now We'll see...
