Anyone with Cattman B pipe and stock muffler

I already have Cattman's Y-pipe, and now want to so something with the rest of the exhaust. I really don't want anything louder than what I have now, so I'm looking at Cattman's B pipe only and keeping the stock muffler. Anyone with this setup? Any fitment problems with matching up to the stock 5th Gen muffler? Is it really "plug and play", just unbolt the old B and bolt the new Cattman B in?

It will fit, and you'll like it (I think).

I have the complete Cattman setup including headers and RT Cat on my '00 SE auto and it is all good. I installed it in stages, first the B-pipe, then the muffler, then the headers and cat. The B-pipe fits fine with the stock muffler, and in fact I am running mine with the stock muffler now.

My Cattman muffler is for sale in near perfect shape (<1,500 miles) for $250 plus shipping. I like the quietness of the stock better as I intend to sell the car soon. Still has a cool growl on WOT but nice and mellow the rest of the time.

Good luck.

Dont know where I heard it, but someone has a site with various sound clips of exhaust setups. I heard a stock muffler with I believe y-pipe and b-pipe, and it sounded nice. Louder than stock, and more aggressive, but not droney (is that a word??)

I have the warpspeed Y and B on the stock muffler. its louder than stock and it doesnt drone at all.
It will bolt up to the cat just fine, but bolting to the muffler will be a problem. The cattman b is 2.5" and the stock rear section is 2.25". I had a muffler shop weld it on for me. A muffler shop can just make the rear sections pipe lager for you

just make sure to take off both support brackets and make sure the B goes over the axel without rubbing.

by all means order it, there is a crush bend in the pipe that restricts it to i would say about an inch of flow. the most pathetic bend...
just have a shop do it. 40 bucks welded sounds right
