I see a lot of model descripts as follows, SE/AE. Does this represent the Avalon Edition? Makes sense to me. I have been searching for a turbo for the 2001 Max, and haven't been able to find one. What do you guys think? Turbo or supercharger, I like the fact that if i go to turbo i can always spend a lot more money and make it a bi-turbo. Now admit it that would be sweet! My car is an SE 5spd in Sterling Mist with the frost cloth, grips you better than leather. I've only had it a month now and the planned list of mods is astronomical. Will keep you all informed. These are great cars and can beat up on most anything out there with the right mods. Lets get em guys.

SE is a sport model and the A.E. is Anniversary Edition.

As for the turbo, here is a link to Greg P's site where he scanned the 2K Eibach turbo Maxima article.
