I have a 2000 5spd maxima gxe with 47,000 miles on it, and just went to autozone to pull some codes due to check engine light coming on...Received a code of P1320 "Ignition System or Misfire" & P0306 "Cylinder 6 misfire"
I wanted to know exactly what I need to do to fix this problem. Inputs would be greatly appreciated...I want to think that it just needs new spark plugs..but who knows, it may be the infamous coil problem. Thanks in advance!

 

Check the plugs...if they look good...swap the #6 coil for another and see if the code comes back on the different cylinder, then you'll know that coil is bad.

 

Bad Coil most likely. I have the same problem. If never replaced coils get all 6 at once. I got them from Dave B. for $310 w/shipping

 

I had the same 2 codes a couple of months ago. Mine was on cylinder #4...I got Dave Burnette to send me just the one coil and all is still good since I changed it about 1500mi ago.
