The Best

Hey everybody. I've been watching these forums for a while, and now that i'm about to get my father's 2k1 maxima, i have some questions. He says if i get all A's, he'll give me his Max and put mostly anything i want into it, and i have all A's. Could someone please tell me what would be the best performance parts? I dont really want to modify the exterior or the interior of the car very much because i love the stock look. It already has a deep tint. I do not want to lower the car. All i want is POWER. The more HP, the better. And take into consideration that price of the parts doesnt matter very much. Thanks in advance.

Start with an intake, and a y-pipe. The y-pipe will help you out alot. Cattman has a really good exhaust setup, its pricey, but you said money isnt an issue.

I said the price does not matter very much, but a turbo/supercharger is too expensive. I was thinking of the best exhaust system, the best intake, maybe tires. Can you guys please give me links to those parts please? Also, if you can think of anything else of that kind of parts, please post! Thanks!

the best mid pipe intake and car back exhaust
http://www.frankencar.com/products/5...aust/index.htm they both sound very good. The first thing I would do is drop the car. The handling s^ucks on this car. The power is aready their.

So frankencar is the best exhaust and intake to get? How many more horses will both of these parts give me? How will it affect the 1/4, and 0-60. Its an auto.

you could always get a Jet chip. I was thinking about it. You have to mail them your computer though. Its about a 15hp gain. Runs a couple hundred bucks. They have a website.

y-pipe, header, intake, UDP, exhaust. I would put exhaust last since it's the worse hp/$$$

If i get the Cattman Complete Exhaust System, will it sound like those annoying little Civics? What about the Frankencar Performance Catback Exhaust System? Are there any sound or video clips of these?

they got a nice deep tone to them but when you add y-pipe or header, your car will get pretty loud.

NOS, headers, y-pipe, straight pipe, cat-back, UDP, intake, lightened flywheel (if manual), Michelin Pilot Sports, lightweight wheels, stiffer springs/struts, and HID's.

That was easy, spending other people's money! Wish it was that easy to fork out cash for my max!

hahahahahahaha then i guess im screwed! I'd rather ride the bus then have a Civic! You must of misunderstood me....my father is going to buy those parts for me when i get all A's. But if i do get any C's, he's gonna buy me a ****mobile(cavalier). Well, ****mobile compared to the Maxima. I need all these opinions on parts so i can put them in our contract. You can trust me on this, you'll see me on these forums in a few months with my Max.

i say headers, intake and catback all from cattman.com. also get an Underdrive pulley from unorthodox. Then if you really want some power get a 125 shot of nitrous. this should be good for atleast 20 horsey's minus the nitrous. If you really want you could do an engine swap with a vq35

Realisticaly, there's nothing wrong with driving an autobox. I'm in a accy 02 3.5 RL and that's auto. It's not MINE mind you, but I still drive around in it. This is the car that made me consider the maxima in the first place. I have an old celica gt-4, and as much as I love it, after experiencing the luxury of the RL, I can't go back to my little sports compact. The one thing that kills me about the RL, is that's it's a SNAIL. And I feel like less of a man when my car shifts for me. After carefully looking at sports sedans that have a good deal of luxury about them, I came to 2 (well... 3) results, BMW 540i / M5 or Maxima. I can get a maxima 3 years newer than the 540i for a better price, while the M5 is humorously out of my price range, and the Maxie is only a tiny bit uglier than the beemur. So the decision pretty much made itself for me.

EDIT:
Oh yea... Chicks love the RL a lot more than they did the cellie =) You'd figure they'd get all excited about a land travelling missile like my GT-4, but as soon as they get the whiff of money from the RL, their choice is obvious

franken car exhaust system only cost $445 shipped so you now have an extra $80. forget about the rear window spoiler and you will have $210. you are well on your way to getting headers from cattman.
